Buteyko Breathing Technique

Buteyko Breathing is an evidence-based method designed to restore healthy breathing patterns by reducing over-breathing and encouraging calm, efficient nasal breathing. As both a Speech and Language Therapist and an accredited Buteyko practitioner, Lucy integrates this approach into her clinical practice to support clients whose breathing habits impact their health and communication.

The Buteyko method has been shown to provide benefits across a range of conditions. It can reduce strain on the voice, support clearer and more sustainable vocal use, and improve sleep-related breathing difficulties such as sleep apnoea and snoring.
